Dr. McMillan has had a lifelong artistic passion and view and she sees the combination of science and art in dentistry as ideal.
She has focused on continuing her education throughout her dental career. Having completed the coursework to become a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, she is currently pursuing Mastership coursework.
Dr. McMillan's previous experience at the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department includes work as a clinical health specialist with the water quality testing lab, clinical/microbiology support for the Communicable Disease/STD clinic, and she was a Washington State Registered Sanitarian and Environmental Health Specialist with the Environmental Health Division.
Dr. McMillan and her husband Craige, moved to John Day, OR in 2003 and established her dental practice shortly thereafter. Craige has his pilot's license and they often fly together, taking in the sights and enjoying the aerial views.
